Is Lux Haven a wipe down service?

No — and we want to be upfront about that. A wipe-down service makes a home look tidy but leaves the real grime behind. Our cleaning technicians work through a protocol based checklist on every visit: scrubbing grout, cleaning inside appliances, getting into baseboards, vents, and fixtures. If it needs actual cleaning, we clean it.

Is Lux Haven a housekeeper service?

No. A housekeeper typically lives in or visits regularly to manage a household — tidying, organizing, and handling day-to-day domestic tasks. Lux Haven is a professional cleaning company. We send trained cleaning technicians to clean your home on a recurring or one-time basis. We don't organize, fold laundry, clear dishes from sinks, load dishwashers, or manage household tasks — we clean.

How does the 50% off second recurring clean work?

Accepted Answer

New recurring clients who sign up for weekly or bi-weekly service receive 50% off their 2nd clean — automatically. There's nothing to redeem or ask for. Complete your initial clean and your second visit will be half off. This offer applies exclusively to new recurring clients on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule and is not available for one-time or monthly cleaning services.

Question 4

Do I need to provide supplies?

No. We bring everything needed to complete a protocol based cleaning up to our rigorous standards, including vacuums and floor mops. The only thing we ask that you provide is a toilet brush in each bathroom to prevent cross-contamination.

Do I need to be home?

Accepted Answer

Many of our clients are not home while our cleaning technicians are present. During the onboarding process we will either obtain an access code from you or facilitate for a lock box to be placed at your home to allow access for your cleaning technician. But don't worry! We always ring the doorbell or knock first!

Are pets a problem?

We love pets! Our cleaners work around them all the time. We're always happy to work around pets as long as they are not aggressive towards our staff. If your pet is agitated or sensitive to the sounds of vacuums, we ask that they be secured while your cleaning technician is present.

Are you bonded and insured?

Yes — we are fully bonded and insured. Our employees are thoroughly vetted and background checked. The security of your home is our top priority.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

Any cancellation fees?

Yes. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a fee equal to 50% of the appointment cost applies. This goes directly towards paying the cleaning technician who was reserved for your home at that time.
